AYURVEDA and How to Deal with the Coronavirus.
AT HYA we have the following rules in place:
Wall sanitizers are in place at the entrance of the center and at the two public restrooms.
We sanitize high frequency countertops, door handles bathroom fixtures etc. daily.
Face masks may be worn entering the center but are not required for yoga.
We limit attendance to eight people per class.
Students are encouraged to bring their own mats, props, and blankets. we currently do not rent equipment.
Some of the measures we spoke about will improve hygiene and strengthens the immune system.
Ayurveda recommends washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, multiple times a day
gargling with warm salt water at least twice a day
The use of a copper tongue scrapper
Pranayama breathing exercises in the morning
The use of nasya oils twice day for nose and sinus passages
A balanced diet with plenty of vegetables
